So, as a photography project in Edinburgh appears on the horizon, it's time to plan how to get there from our base in the Midlands.

Luckily (no luck involved, we chose it) we use an electric vehicle, so the journey won't be too expensive. And we can stop off half way on the way back to catch up with family.

The weather looks good.

The car is charged.

The camera equipment is checked.

Water and energy bars are packed.

It's time to head... North of the Border.
